While not everyone is married, everyone is shaped by the marriages around them. Marriage is a living picture of the gospel, meant to reflect Christ’s love for the church through Spirit-filled living, mutual submission, and sacrificial love. Husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church—selflessly, for their sanctification and growth in holiness.
