More of a Instacart Episode (At First) + People Getting Crafty on Us Delivery Drivers • Episode 12, Season 7 • 3/5/22 • The Re-up Podcast by @MsDjHoodie

In this lengthy episode, A LOT has happened.  For the first part of my work shift, I decided to do a little bit of Instacart.  I did a few orders here, a few orders there... until things began to happen on my FIRST "Shop, Pay & Deliver" batch.  I dropped the shampoo bottle which I had to waste a little more time having to go back to retrieve another one.  And then there was dealing with other delays such as being in the checkout line, the typical schedules that people like to follow because of society, and having to buy a subscription through an app that after so long of being available for free, I ended up having to buy it.   After a shopping and delivering a few batches with Instacart, I began to do food deliveries.  On a double pickup, I had issues with both of those customers.  The first customer didn't receive his drink because I thought the drink was inside a paper bag along with the food, and the second customer was being a crafty b-tch and figured out how to get away with cancelling an order without having to pay to have her order cancelled.   At the very end of the episode, I drop as much knowledge as I can about the gig life and what happens to the majority of us drivers that are only trying to do our jobs right, accurately, and honest.  This can help both customers who order food and groceries to be delivered, AND to gig workers who can use my experiences as a "heads up" on what to look out for, and to know what customers can actually do to try to get away with putting our accounts on the line.  It's unfair and everyone needs to know this.
