from Foos in Coffee Podcast · host Eduardo Choza

Send us Fan MailWhat up homies!? We are excited to introduce you all to Santiago Carvajal and Ronaldo Hurtado of Forest Coffee. Forest Coffee is a green coffee grower, processor, exporter and importer from Colombia. In 2022, our host Eduardo Choza met the good folks of Forest Coffee during the Producer Roaster Forum that takes place yearly in Latin America which links coffee producers (growers) and coffee roasters from around the world. Beyond beautiful coffees owners, Martha, Shady and Elias are great humans that are trying to do special things at their farm El Vergel, and beyond. Today we sit down with Santiago and Ronaldo who are a key part of establishing a market for the beautiful coffees that Forest Coffee and their growing partners are producing in three growing regions within Colombia. Santiago is a certified Q-Grader and has been a key part of Forest Coffee's growth by being one of the first employees and responsible for many roles.  He currently oversees the entire US market. Ronaldo has been in coffee his whole life, his parents are coffee farmers and he was very involved in the process from a very early age. Although it wasn't something he loved as a kid, as an adult he developed a deep appreciation and love, he enjoys connecting farmers to roasters and currently oversees the Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.Want to learn more about Forest Coffee or see their latest green coffee offerings, check out their website, www.coffeegreenbeans.comfollow on instagram @forestcoffeeInstagram: @foosincoffee
