More Than Pink Walk 2020 Featuring Kelly Kawashema

from Late Night Health Radio · host Late Night Health

A Manhattan Beach resident, Kelly grew up playing volleyball and still coaches indoor volleyball there nine months of the year. At 33, in 2018, she was diagnosed with Stage II breast cancer, later determined to be Stage III. Today, she’s a survivor. She credits her mother, Gail, with saving her life as she sensitized Kelly to the need for self-exams when she was diagnosed in 2017. Volleyball practice is generally late in the day but Kelly will arrange a time earlier in the day if you want to shoot this segment.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/late-night-health-radio--2804369/support.
