First, The plaintiff and defendant grew up in the same building in New York and have been friends since they were 4 years old. The plaintiff took a DNA test and learned she was half-Italian, and the defendant’s father is Italian. The defendant showed the plaintiff a photo of her father and says they look alike. They are petitioning the court for a DNA test to see if they are siblings. Then, The plaintiff says the defendant is her sister and she let her move in after escaping an abusive relationship. The plaintiff says her sister then began dressing provocatively in from of her boyfriend. She’s suing for rent and an assault. The defendant says the plaintiff belittles her and she denies hitting on her sister’s boyfriend. She says she only attacked her sister after she called her a name. Plus, The plaintiff says she met the defendant online. They began dating and moved in together. She claims she found out he was cheating on her with his estranged pregnant wife, and she’s suing him for the balance due on a computer.
