More, with less Stuff

In this message, we're challenged to examine what truly matters in our lives. Drawing from Matthew 6:19-24, we're reminded of Jesus' teaching to store up treasures in heaven rather than on earth. This isn't about rejecting material possessions, but about aligning our hearts with God's priorities. We're encouraged to ask ourselves: do our bank accounts, calendars, and worries reflect what we claim is important? The sermon emphasizes that a life of impact comes from focusing on influence and significance. Influence is built through time, value, and service, while significance stems from faith, obedience, and love. As we navigate the holiday season, let's remember that hope—a confident expectation in God's promises—is the greatest gift we can offer and receive. This message challenges us to live purposefully, leveraging all we have for God's kingdom and seeking His face with renewed intimacy.
