In de korte documentaire dook KNIL-afstammeling Marco Huysdens, zelf militair, eerst de archieven in voor zijn eigen familie, maar hij besloot al gauw dat niet alleen zijn twee opa's recht hadden op (postuum) eerherstel. De medailles stapelen zich inmiddels op in zijn gang.
