Episode 16 Morgan Bauer Nineteen year-old Morgan Bauer left her home in Aberdeen, SD in February, 2016 looking to start the next chapter of her life in the big city of Atlanta, GA. She left home with barely more than the clothes on her back, and a few belongings. She had no money and met a man on Craigslist who said that Morgan could live with him temporarily if she agreed to clean for him. But after just 1 day of living there, she came home to find her belongings on the sidewalk. Scrambling to survive, Morgan attempted to break into the world of Atlanta's exotic dancing scene, and took refuge in local hotels. She stayed active on social media, but without warning, Morgan stopped posting. When her mom Sherri realized that Morgan was missing, she headed to Atlanta trying to find her daughter. She soon discovered it would be an uphill battle, and police were not of much help. Today, almost 5 years later, Morgan remains missing. There is no indication that Morgan's credentials have been used, there is unclaimed money of hers, and her family believes that she may have been the victim of foul play or human trafficking. Morgan's mom Sherri discusses the frustrating search for her daughter. If you have information about Morgan's case, please contact the Atlanta Police Department at 404-546-4235.
