Morning — August 6 — Proverbs 3:12

for the LORD disciplines the one He loves, as does a father the son in whom he delights. — Proverbs 3:12Divine discipline is the Father’s loving tool to shape His children into the likeness of Christ. It never comes from anger or rejection, but from deliberate, redemptive purpose. Through hardship, God strips away false security and draws us closer to His own heart, producing a harvest of righteousness and peace. This is the consistent, tender work of a God whose ways are higher than ours and whose plans are for our good.
