from Alaska's News Source

Federal investigators on Thursday released the final accident report on the February 2025 Bering Air commuter crash that killed 10 people on Norton Sound sea ice, citing a combination of severe in-flight icing and a heavily overloaded aircraft as central to the tragedy.   Juneau police have identified the human remains found inside a chest freezer at a Glacier Highway property earlier this month as those of Ross Pasquan, and investigators are now examining whether his death was concealed for financial gain.   A father is looking for answers after a fatal plane crash outside of the remote town of McCarthy earlier this week that took the life of his son and two others.
