Morning — July 9 — Zechariah 3:4

So the angel said to those standing before him, “Take off his filthy clothes!” Then he said to Joshua, “See, I have removed your iniquity, and I will clothe you with splendid robes.” — Zechariah 3:4True standing before God does not come from self-cleaning or moral improvement. Instead, it is a divine exchange where our filthy guilt is removed and we are wrapped in the perfect righteousness of Christ. This gift allows the believer to stand before the throne with full confidence, not because of who we are, but because of whose we are.
