Morning Madness! Waking Up Like the ADHD Warrior You Are!

from Journey With Me Through ADHD: A podcast for kids · host Katelyn Mabry

Who else dreads the hustle and bustle of many mornings?! Once we open our eyes to start our day, a flood of executive function skills are being called on and that can just put you in a state of overwhelm and cause emotions to take over, going in a downward spiral if we let it! This is where you can make a choice and a change!! You are an ADHD warrior who can find the armor that you can put on each morning to make it run more smoothly and feel calmer. It may be a checklist, reminders and alarms set, a whiteboard with "to dos" written in order and then you get the satisfaction of erasing it when it's finished!  Are you willing to identify the areas of struggle that are causing the chaos? Are you willing to create structure and routine that works best for you and your needs? Are you willing to build in time to find your own calm and space to get your mind filled with the dopamine it needs to feel more motivated, more focused, and ignited with a joy chemical that will start your day out in a positive direction?! This is all possible! You will be able to interact with this podcast and come up with your own morning success routine!  Send me a message at www.katelynmabry.com to share what is working best for you or email me directly at [email protected] if you'd like to guest on this podcast or even send me an audio clip sharing part of your ADHD journey!!  I hope you all have a super blessed day! You are loved and so valued! I love being here with each and every one of you!
