My name is Lilly. I was born in Morocco in a Muslim family. My father was Marxist, and my mom was a non-practicing Muslim. Islam was more of culture and lifestyle. My education was in the French private schooling system. That’s how I learned to question and critically think about everything. They decide to accept it or not. When I got to college, I was rewarded with a Fullbright scholarship by the US state dept to come to the USA and further my education.
