Morris vs Melton Wild Card Showdown | Detroit Tigers News

Tigers’ Andrew Morris, battling a rough August, takes the mound as a short-term opener against Twins’ ace Troy Melton—whose 1.86 ERA would be league-leading if not for limited innings. With the Tigers clinging to a wild card spot, their offense must reignite the spark they flashed last night. Lineup matchups include McGonigle at DH and Torres at second for Detroit, while the Twins trot out Bell at DH and Larnach in left. Melton vs. Morris promises high stakes—and high drama.
