Ida står som nybagt mor til en baby i et nomadeliv og en totalrenovering. Og Maria står med pseudotvillinger på over 3 år og er endelig faldet på plads i hendes barndomsgård og drømmehjem. Vi taler om angst og kedsomhed, om opdragelse og værdier, om bitterhed på vores partnere, skænderier, og om at fordele kærlighed og nærvær lige, når der ikke længere kun er ét lille barn at passe på.
