We finally get around to Mortal Kombat II (2026), with Linder coming in completely cold — never played the games, never saw the previous movies — while Frank actually knows enough of the lore to recognize things like Scorpion’s “Get over here!” Karl Urban’s Johnny Cage gets Frank on board, Kano 2.0 steals every scene he’s in, the fights deliver, the humor lands, and somehow a movie this ridiculous knows exactly how ridiculous it is. Linder liked it enough that he now wants to go back and watch the first one. Frank liked it enough to spontaneously applaud when the credits rolled.
