Matthew Cox is a former mortgage banker and an admitted mortgage fraudster. Matthew falsified documents, impersonated homeowners, fraudulently obtained mortgages, and ultimately acquired millions of dollars. His scams even put him on the Secret Service's Most Wanted list and was eventually arrested and sentenced to 125 years in prison. Having only served 12.5 years of his sentence, Matthew currently spends his time as a true crime author. He's also working on creating a system that would protect homeowners from the same scams that he ran.
