mosaic: A Personal Look at War in Ukraine

In this episode of mosaic we explore humanitarian relief efforts taking place in Ukraine. We will hear first-person accounts of local leaders, including mosaic host and incoming Board Chair Susan Shulman Pertnoy, Board Member Betsy R. Sheerr and Federation President & CEO Michael Hoffman. The group traveled to the border of Ukraine and Poland shortly after the war began on a mission organized by Jewish Federations of North America. We also will speak with two of our global partner organizations, American-Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) and The Jewish Agency for Israel, about how they quickly scaled up relief efforts and how they’re planning for the long term needs of Ukrainian refugees. mosaic is Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County's news magazine show, exploring Jewish topics that affect the local and global communities.
