MOSES: GOD PREPS A DELIVERER

The story of Moses begins long before his birth. This devotional traces the shift from Joseph’s legacy of peace to the rise of a new Pharaoh who “did not know Joseph,” setting the stage for fear, oppression, and God’s quiet preparation of a deliverer. We explore how political amnesia reshaped Egypt, how fear turned into brutality, and how two courageous midwives defied a king to honor God. In the middle of danger, a Levite mother hides her child, places him in a basket of hope, and watches God orchestrate a rescue through Pharaoh’s own daughter. This opening message reminds us that God’s promises survive every upheaval, His purposes advance even in silence, and He prepares deliverance long before we see it. A changed climate.A threatened people.A protected child.A deliverer preserved. Welcome to Week 1 of Moses: Deliverer in the Making.
