Exodus 2:1-10 Moses and Jesus’ stories contain some fascinating parallels. Shortly after their births, God delivers both of them from evil kings seeking to kill them. As adults, God uses Moses to free God’s people from slavery to Egypt, where Jesus frees God’s people from slavery to sin. Throughout these comparisons we discover that God is a rescuing God who both protects His people and delivers them to live in freedom from sin.
