Moses Lake, WA - The Adventures of Daytona Smith and The Beans of Heinz

Welcome to Moses Lake where the only thing that stinks is the water!  Named after Chief Moses (who was named that by settlers), a leader of the Sinkiuse tribe, the area was traded to white settlers who blackmailed the chief to give up the land instead of being convicted of a murder he clearly didn't commit.  Okay, maybe some other things stink as well.  Moses Lake has a sister city, Yonezawa, Japan.  The two cities have exchanged students for more than two decades, and a street in Moses Lake has been named in honor of the sister city.  Moses Lake has been called home by many notable people including Evil Knievel.  Join us for a jaunt through Sulk-stalk-scosum (Chief Moses' real name) and enjoy Keith's attempts at pronouncing Yonezawa!Small Town News--whose headline is it, anyway? @SmallTownNewsImprov
