This administration is unwell. Their online posting habits are evidence enough. If they were a friend we’d probably recommend touching grass. Or therapy. But they are not our friends but rather wannabe fascists who are disappearing immigrants and demonizing anyone who disagrees with them.  In this deep dive Francesca explores how Trump’s propaganda derives from the very bowels of the internet that Trump’s victories have pulled from: the gamers, the incels, the 4chan and 8chan white nationalists. These are the online communities with big mass shooter energy who hate women, people of color, and living in a society?  And actual mass shooters exhibit the same kinds of posting behavior as whoever is behind these unhinged DHS and White House posts.  So it’s no accident that Trump’s propaganda pulls from these same places in order to recruit sad dads to work for ICE.
