Most Haunted Kentucky

In the dead of night, as people sleep, that is when the spirits creep. As the bell tolls three dark things take power, we like to call it the supernatural hour. Hey, welcome to the supernatural hour this is Riddin. Hey I'm Trad.

Oh sorry, I wondered about that. And now they know. You know? That's one of those words I type without it.

And most of the time when I look at it and I go, I think that's wrong. It could be right. It just depends on where the whiskey is manufactured. It's spelled well the ways.

That's actual. Really? Mm-hmm. Did not know that.

No, no. And now you know. So Chad, we have exciting news. We do have exciting news.

We are pregnant. Oh. I got a couple of daughter-in-laws that are in law. We're having ghost babies.

I'm not pregnant with a record. What's the news? The news is we've got an investigation at Fort Douglas on Friday, April 25th at 8.30 PM. We're really excited to be able to get back in there.

Moon was instrumental in finding this out for us. We appreciate that. I confirmed with the Fort Douglas Military Museum people this afternoon and it's up on our website and on our homepage and upcoming events and emails have been sent out to patrons and we're pretty excited about it. Last time I was there, I was paying customer and Drake was leading me on the adventure and I remember a girl started crying uncontrollably and ran out of the little poker speakeasy area.

Sorry. I remember that. That was a time. So it's under a little bit of new management as it were.

And so we're actually going to go up in a couple days and see where we can go and can't go. I'm assuming it's going to be about the same. But if you've been there before, it might be a little different as far as where we can and can't go, but we'll find out. Hopefully maybe we can get into the storage area this time.

With the tombstones. Well, there, but there's also an area where they keep like the bodies. So light or vault of stuff. A little switched stuff in and out.

I've been down there once. Drake, have you been down in that room before? Underneath the library? Yes.

I think I was. Pretty cool. Yep. Same.

We're super excited because we thought when they closed down we were it was undetermined whether or not they were going to open back up. But they did. Yay. Yay.

Alrighty. So let's just jump right into our topic. We're going to talk about haunted things in Kentucky. And first of all, in Kentucky, there's going to be a lot of early grounds, cemeteries, which we are haunted.

We can already know about those. We're going to get some places you may not have heard of. But, Tawiski, you were saying something interesting about Bobby Mackeys before we totally keep it aside. Yeah.

So, I'm just going to get some interesting about Bobby Mackeys. Maybe it's interesting about me because I'm so quirky and unique. As we've covered on this podcast, I have accepted potentially possessed items to my house to do not do that. But I do have a piece of Bobby Mackeys, the original floor before they knocked it down.

They knocked it down. It's a temporary place. They're rebuilding it on the same plot. But the original building was just too much to remodel.

So, do you have a piece of that particular place? Sitting in my living room. It's a piece of the floor. Piece of the dance floor.

Main floor. Some people considered wood. Yeah. Wood floor.

Which you know. So, my son told me something interesting. It was just manifested. Which is that men are very broad in their details.

So, whiskey just said, hey, I've got a piece of Bobby Mackeys. Women like to get into the degree. Like, what is it from? What's it made of?

So, see if you saw that in action. I think that's a generalization that we're making here. But... Absolutely.

But, hey. Absolutely a generalization. But it manifested right then. It's true.

So, I don't know. Another truth for my day job. I'm actually a manager of a quality team that focuses solely on the degree details. So, I get the best of both worlds.

But who had to ask about this piece of Bobby Mackeys, eh? I didn't listen. I don't want to be tracking me down, right? Nobody needs to know exactly how I acquired a piece of Bobby Mackeys and or what that is if they happen to have security camera footage of the construction site.

Okay. But it's there. And you guys can see it if you've ever come back. It's just chilling.

There's some other haunted things there. But you'll learn about them if we select those as podcast items. Well, we were going to come and investigate your house when it got a little worse than I thought we were there. Uh-oh.

It's your idea. I heard full-time in yawns, so I'm all in. That's true. I'm looking for the food.

I am. This group makes good food. Let's continue one. Speaking of food, there's a place called Sauerkraut Cave.

That's on it. Yeah, it's now known as Tom Sawyer Park, but... Alex Sauerkraut Cave, better. Let's race it.

Yeah. So originally was given to a Virginia military millilish officer who fought the French Indian War. I didn't even know Isaac Heit in 1773. So before the country was even founded, it was given to a military member.

But while he was living on the land, he ran a mill known as Heit's Mill, but he was unfortunately killed by the Americans in 1794. From an 1869, 200 acres of land were bought by the Kentucky State Legislature to build the State House Reform for Juvenile Delinquents. It wasn't until 1873 that the Reform School was transformed into the Kentucky State Mental Hospital later named Lakeland Asylum. And that is when History Met Evil and Land became...

To what I quote from the research I found, that is when History Met Evil and the Land became Hell on Earth. That sounds like fun. Yeah, I think it might be a little haunted, right? History Met Evil.

That's insane. That sounds like the opening of the paranormal series. When History Met Evil, these are our ghosted pictures. These are ghosted pictures.

But mainly the Asylum just did a lot of enemies and electric shock therapy and even murder was common in the Asylum. Okay, for a second when you listed it after some procedures and you're like an even murder, I'm like a medical procedure! It does fix stuff. You know what pain anymore.

You look at the most of the Sylams back in the late 1800s and early 1900s. They did some sketch stuff. They were figuring it out. Less cameras, less people documenting things.

Exactly. That was smart phones. I'm not going to find out they're going to Ploma's real. You know, I don't know.

And then the cave was built in 1873 by the hospital. It must have underground tunnels that stream all throughout Louisville. And the cave became used as storage space for tiles and cold storage for perishable goods. Most commonly large cans of sauerkraut which is how the cave got its name.

It's also rumored that the cave also was a storage for dead bodies. Yeah. I mean sauerkraut is what decomposing stuff too. So I guess it's all the same thing.

It might as well throw some just regular kombucha down there too. They could rebrand in 2025 as the kombucha cave and I think they'd go viral. Hey. It could be haunted spirits.

Kombucha has a little bit of alcohol and a haunted spirit. Listen, sauerkraut cave hit me up. Alright, we got a rebranding opportunity for you. Of all the places that we're talking about tonight, honestly, sauerkraut cave is probably the top of my list of places I want to go next time I'm in Kentucky.

For the spookier, the sauerkraut. Both. It also was a lot of patients that were trying to escape. You were using it to escape as well, but never made it because it was so cold.

It would freeze or anything would drown. Oh, terrible. So it's alcatraz. It sounds like.

It's just patients that would somehow get pregnant, would be taken to the cave, it would come out suspiciously no longer pregnant. Well, they just have a little bit of everything going on there, don't they? It could be magic. It finally reached the SI 11 1996 after a new one was built in 1986.

It was down the road. 1996 is what? Wait, when did it open again? It was opened in 1869.

That's insane. Wow, literally. But that was that building after a new one was built 10 years before. So, you know, is the cave still open?

People ask that, is the cave doing all? None of my research says it is. A lot of people think that when they demolished the hospital, they closed it up. Well, if there's not a sign that says no trespassing, that means Raven's going to go look at it anyway.

But there is no confirmation with it open or it's been closed off. Interesting. So far, this is my favorite of all the ones we've looked at so far. It is.

You only want to be forced. Well, I'm just doing my own research, thank you very much. So, one of the next areas is called Camp Taylor and it's in Louisville. I actually went to school.

I went to school right after high school with a girl who was from Louisville and she pronounced it Louisville, just a fun fact there. So Camp Taylor, it actually was a World War I military base. And before that, it was far-wind. But it's like an entire neighborhood and the people that live in this area say that there are hung and go sightings happening regularly.

So, when it became a World War I military base, it was a training camp. And they actually suffered a big influence outbreak in its first year. And as you know, hundreds of deaths occurred every day. And they had so many deaths that they actually had to stack soldiers' bodies in piles because they just couldn't carry them quick enough.

And so, you can just imagine this illness and just the energy that would come just from being sick and then somebody's body. Even the living scene that's at the bodies had been just a little disconcerting. Did you think, am I going to be next? I walked through cemeteries because I'm a bagpiper.

And on certain areas of cemeteries you can see where all the influenza people are buried to just a dozen of them. I mean, that gives me the creeps. I can't even imagine seeing stacks and stacks of dead bodies. Question.

You said you walk through cemeteries because you are a bagpiper. Yes. What's the significance? Do bagpipers have to walk through cemeteries?

No, because I get asked to do funeral all the time. Okay. It's not like where they're from and ready for all. That's why I was like, do all bagpipers?

Is this a rite of passage? Is there some historical significance I'm missing out on here? I'm like, I just want these cemeteries because I'm weird. So, if I can cemeteries, I'm a bagpiper.

How many miles have you logged in as a bagpiper in a cemetery? Probably. I can tell you where every cemetery in Utah is and probably something you don't know. So, where you hide the bodies?

I don't know what you're going to do. That's your own cemetery. You don't know about it. I think that's your own cemetery.

You don't know about it. So, sometimes I do have a little bit of conflict of interest because my car license plates are wisps and it says got ghosts. And when I drive to the plate, if you're not like, I'm going to bring it from car with a different license plate. Well, if your license plate's got pipes, you would get pulled over.

I think that ghost is the perfect opportunity in a cemetery to say it. It's like, oh, conflict of interest, but whatever. So, it's after the war, it became a residential neighborhood like we said before. And this is when people really started seeing a lot of ghosts.

They report seeing soldiers marching in an electric formation. They hear the sound of cannons. They have seen soldiers during guns. They've seen soldiers at any type of setting you can think of.

They've seen it. They've also seen ghosts in the area. They said that if you're in the area, you might have to glimpse of a Victorian-era woman who wants to wander around at night sometimes. Some say that she lingers as though she's looking for her lover who died of influenza, trying to find him on the stacks of people.

And she had actually died a few days before he did from influenza. But if you go there, you can actually book a tour through the ghostly sites of Old Louisville today. If you want to talk about cemetery. I want a bat from Louisville.

That's what I want. A slutter? A lady slutter? Yeah.

If we go out there for ghosts, I'm going to the factory. In a bat. So if we never like caves in Kentucky, apparently, talk to speak about. Because if you go to Mammoth Cave, which is, I'll give you the address in case you go in there, it is Green River, very road in Mammoth Cave, Kentucky 4-2-5-9.

There you go. And I love caves. I don't know if something about caves is cool. It's just cool.

We've got sauerkraut cave. We've got Mammoth Cave. It is haunted because it is part of an 18th burial ground. So anybody that has listened to anything paranormal any time soon or any time in recent history, you know that if there's a Native American or a Cuz attached to it, they're going to be possibly not only ghosts, but definitely some strange shadow.

Mammoth Cave became a national park in 1941. But before that, a doctor used the cave to treat tuberculosis patients. Did I say that weird? The birculosis patients.

Found a right to me. Again, you're going to have a lot of illness. There's going to be a lot of heaviness there from people being sick for people dying. A group of patients actually moved into a hut that they built inside the cave.

You can tell the idea that the cool cave temperatures would cure the disease because back then, you know, tuberculosis they would try to just get you in better weather or so they were thinking, oh, maybe this will work. Two patients died. And they were placed on rock slabs, which they now call corpse rock. So that's where I'd kind of like to go and investigate I was there.

But other patients got worse and as people have gone through this cave, there have been reports of hearing coffee near corpse rock. There's the feeling of being touched. If it was cold spots, which you're in a cave at school anyway, so if you're feeling cold spots in a cold cave, that's going to be pretty darn cold. And they also hear voices of men and women speaking.

I don't know if anybody's ever looked at the cave system maps. There's still mapping a lot of them, but there is a lot of folklore and disappearances just related to the larger cave systems out east, like all over the East Coast, or not East Coast, but that direction, including cannibals. They say live in some portions of the cave. So if you do go to Mammoth Cave, maybe like don't shower.

Don't be appetizing. Do not spell good. Don't season yourself. Make sure to put your other answer not salty.

That's right. I also heard another story about Mammoth Cave where there's this woman named Melissa, and she had a crush on her tutor whose name was Mr. Beverly. And Melissa learned that she had feelings for her friend and neighbor.

And so do you know what she did? She took him into the caves and ditched him and he got lost and died. And so it said that both of them haunt the caves to this day. What the heck?

Rude, I like you. Let's go to this cave. I think, I don't know, being lost in the cave, that would be so frustrating. I'm super claustrophobic and that sounds claustrophobic to me.

Your battery, like your flashlight's going to die. Their lantern probably died. Like it's dark, it's cold, it's awful. That's why I don't go in caves.

Have you ever been in the cave when they turn the lights off? It's just pitch black. It's so dark in the cave. It's scary.

I've gone back and back. I have gone down a mine shaft and somebody did not warn anybody that they're taking a flash picture. And I think I was like ultra blind from that. I was already in the dark, but I somehow felt blind even though I couldn't see anything anyways.

So you're seeing white spots? Exactly, I saw the stars. I went full loony tunes. That's terrible.

Well, I want to talk to y'all about Talbot Tavern. So, Talbot Tavern was opened in 1770 and also operated as an inn back in the day. Throughout the years, many historical spiggers stayed there like Daniel Boone, General George Rogers Clark, Abraham Lincoln, and the French King Louis Philippe. The most infamous, I don't know, fancy, huh?

The French King came over. I think he was the last French King if I remember correctly. So the most infamous guest that stayed there was Jesse James. And rumor has it, he is still haunting to the end to this day.

It said that while he was in the inn visiting his family in town, he was staying in a room and was suddenly awakened in the middle of the night to find an apparition that was standing in the room. So, of course, in Jesse James' style, he whipped out his pistol and shoots it. And the bullet holes are still there today. There is a mysterious woman in white that haunts the tavern.

And things are said to move on their own, disappear and reappear somewhere else. Furniture supposedly moves up and down on its own, like top tier ghost haunting level to me. Doors open and close, shadow figures can be seen, and footsteps are heard day and night. It is now a bed and breakfast with five rooms available, and each room is named after someone famous that stayed there.

It also still functions as a bar and is ranked the 13 most haunted hotel in the United States today. The 13th? The 13th? That's a spooky number.

I can tell you right now, just looking at the Google image of Street View? For sure, haunted. For sure, haunted. I don't need...

For sure. If I walked by that, I'd be like, hmm, let's leave a flyer. Well, they haven't even really... It looks the same as it used to.

They haven't done a lot of remodeling in there. There was a fire back in, I think it was 98 and things like that. So, they did a little bit of fixing up, but it looks pretty much like it did back in the day. I explained with some of the bricks or black.

Fire. Okay, hear me out. We go there as a team event. We stay at Talbot Tavern and then just go hunt all these other places.

I get Jesse James' rooms. Okay. Do you think he's haunted? No, I just was thinking that he's going to be the spookiest.

I just wondered if there was a reason. I didn't know him. I don't know. I hope this James haunts me.

Oh my goodness. Oh, I go. Hey, nice. So you and Moon can do it out.

Who gets the Jesse James' rooms? Summit Jesse James. I will fight, so to stand. So, I was looking into the Souls Chapel Cemetery and it's kind of interesting.

It's an abandoned Methodist church and it's near Sugar Hill, Kentucky. And it dates back to the 19th century. This existed. It exists and traced back to Civil War and part of the church supported the Confederate cause and the other supported the Union.

And due to this divide, half the church left and built their own chapel by a mile away called Bradley's Chapel. But after the Civil War, the congregation decided to merge back together and left the Souls Chapel behind. So it's abandoned. And investigators that are there, they reported like there's a guy saying there was an EVP of a man saying I'm watching you.

And then during investigation, that same investigation, there was a separate group and they called the other group and they were freaking out because the other group kept saying that there was a small girl in a white dress that they could see whether eyes were open and closed. Gross. Yeah. And then apparently there's a figure.

Yeah, I can't imagine. Like you can't even close your eyes with a figure. Okay. So, but there's a figure they say no one is the Reverend.

And apparently some guy, the identity is very unknown. But as rumored to have been performing dark rituals in the passage as animal and human sacrifices. And according to legend, angry mob hung the man in the chapel rafters. And apparently there potentially is a guy named James Powell.

But also there's supposedly is lots of occult rituals that are happening in that building as it's been abandoned for so long. So yeah, that is the Soul's Chapel Cemetery. So Kentucky, y'all need some therapy. Yeah, a little bit of stuff going on there.

I'm looking at the satellite imagery here of Soul's Chapel Cemetery. It looks like maybe the chapel's gone. But one remarkable thing is just 500 feet away is the first house in a community of people. And that's out there because the street view does not work on any of the streets in that area.

It only works on the big highway. So I think we need to write down the address of this person and send them a flyer for when we go out there. So he needs those house books in there now. Y'all just piled in.

There's also just from just the way that it looks from the satellite imagery. It looks like there might be some kind of creek kind of an exit too. So there are a couple of bodies of water and there might be running water. Ooh, spooky time, spooky.

Double spooky. So I did some research on the Maple Hills Manor bed and breakfast. And when I went out and looked at it, it looked really nice. It talked about how romantic it is and what a beautiful place it is.

And then I said it and I thought I'm not seeing anything about hauntings or anything else. But after doing a little bit of research, it says Maple Hills wears many hats. It's a historic home, a bread and breakfast, a craft store, an orchard, a nature preserve, an alpaca llama farm. But it's also a haunted house.

Ooh, it has everything. It's like the Saturday Night Live Skate works like it has everything. It has alamas. It has bed and breakfast.

It has go. Oh, back us. But wait, there's more. I'm a late.

The whole tour has worked. So it's been featured in over a dozen books, three TV shows, six magazines, newspapers, and it's had over 50 investigations. And it says no one leaves disappointment. The haunted investigations are now available a year around.

They only used to be at Halloween. And group arrangements might. Group investigations can be arranged by local paranormal teams that can assist you. Or we can bring our own team, but we have to do a full house rental is required to do that.

And looking at the rates, that would be pretty steep. But you can also opt to be waitlisted to be included in a group of people that are going to come and do an organized one that have some openings. So the home was built in 1851 by slaves who took three years to painstakingly cut all the wood by hand and make the bricks on site from scratch. In a set to be haunted by either the original owners, Thomas McElroy and his young enough to be his daughter wife, Sarah Maxwell.

Mmm. Nothing like a good daughter, right? Yeah. There's seven children.

There's seven children, four of them died in the house at a very young age. Thomas and Sarah both eventually passed away in the home as well. All of these family members have been cited as possible sources for the spirits. In addition.

Oh. But wait, there's more. There were soldiers that fought in the Battle of Perry'sville in 1962, but I'm sure it's 1862 because it would have been the Civil War. And many were left wounded and dead lying all over the area for miles.

Many of the troops were brought to nearby Springfield homes including Maple Hill to recover and regroup. Some died in the premises. And then witnesses have reported knocks on the doors when there was nobody there. Footsteps in empty rooms, cold spots, phantom perfume, sand, strange lights showing up in photos and unusual dreams.

William Lidwood one telling his book haunted houses and family ghosts of Kentucky includes an entire chapter about Maple Hill ghosts ghosts. In addition, there was a report by one girl that made a comment. It says, I was unaware that this place was supposed to be haunted when we stayed there in October in 2017. Our last night there around 4am, we were in the Jefferson Davis room.

Something touched me. Shortly thereafter, the fire alarm started buzzing loudly in our room. Lights turned on and it stopped. Lights out 15 minutes later, it was buzzing again.

Lights on. It stopped. I got creeped out as it went on. Finally, we got ready and fled.

I didn't even stay for breakfast. We had a great time. Just that last night was a little on the creepy side. My sister was in the room, a little downstairs, and that was quiet and they never heard a thing.

So. What I hear you saying is that we should recruit all of our patrons and come with us so we can all afford to stay there in a mess. See, they'll pack alamas or whatever. I feel like our venues have been put to shame out here.

Family tree opened a llama farm out back. You know, spice it up a little bit. Okay, now I have to hear if there's been any llama ghost sightings. I didn't see any llama ghost sightings.

We're going to ghost an alum. Or even ghosts writing on llamas. There was nothing about that either. Well, I'm not going to keep an eye on that because that's coming.

You know what? Do you think there's like ghosts, giraffes and all kind of nonsense? I want to say ghost giraffes or something. Ghost dinosaurs.

Come on. Ghost dinosaurs. There you go. Ghost everything.

Let's bring it back to Kentucky. Last but not least, let's chat about Liberty Hall. This was actually two historic homes that were built in 1796 by Senator John Brown. It's kind of a red brick building and a lot of people said it just looks really eerie at first glance.

You think of the shuddered tall shuddered windows. There's great trees casting shadows on her. So it's kind of John Brown and his wife. Obviously they're going to be quite prominent.

They're going to host a lot of prominent members of society. They've got political figures, opera singers, army generals, now it's a museum. And people say that it's haunted by a lot of spirits. So one of the spirits that's there is the great lady ghost who said to be the spirit of Margarita Verick.

She's actually the aunt of John Brown's wife and she died on a property three days after a wagon in 1817 they think probably due to a heart attack. But several generations after her death, the great granddaughter of John Brown and Margarita Brown started seeing an apparition of a lady in a grey gown in her bedroom for nightland. And she said that she's scared. She screamed for her brother who ran into the room.

But when he got there the apparition was gone but it did appear the next night. Liberty Hall suffered some fire damage in 1965 and fella by the name of Francis Coleman took some pictures the same year. And after he developed the film one of the photos showed a blurry form that he describes as raising the hair on the back of his neck. In the image what he thought was a figure of a lady wearing a long grey gown.

Reports of the grey lady can be seen from the Paladane window and roaming around the house as recently as a 2018. So it's not just a back-of-the-day thing. There's one more ghost at Liberty Hall that has a mysterious story. In 1805 a Spanish opera singer was one of the guests who attended the party at the house and she was seen walking amidst the gardens and towards the river but then was never seen again.

Like in real life. And there had been reports of a dark character when running through the gardens with a look of frozen terror on her face. When she was running she was shrieking but you don't hear it. So this is the one way you hear the shrieking ghost you see it.

But you don't hear it. So it would be interesting to know what happened to the Spanish opera singer. She sang her last song. Absolutely.

Probably got key too. I don't know if you're scared you're not going to be too nice. So there's more honking in Kentucky. We should probably talk about Honded Kentucky all night.

I think some of you all need some therapy. But in all honesty, it's a beautiful state. Chad and I were there not too long ago. There's got a lot of history as being with the older states in the US.

I've been thinking about it. And I think we're going to put together a couple of kits to have for rental at different advance paranormal events so that you guys can get some pretty decent equipment in your hands. We're not going to Bifield meter. Maybe a little flashlight.

Maybe a catball in there. K2 surface temperature. Just something to rent. So keep your eyes and ears out.

Fun fact, that's anything. I'm talking about that here. I have all keychains and they're custom made and they glow in the dark. So yeah.

Hey, Raven. Yeah, so Raven, Stenctor has also been very busy in her personal life. Finals, I'm in the throws of finals, so that's been fun. And if I look at all the stuff I have for school, I literally have eight things left and then I am done.

So three of those representations that are done, I just have to visit them. So I'm super excited. So the last thing I did was write a paper and my paper was on ecology and ericnology, ecotourism in Egypt, which was fun. But if something that's more fun is maybe a haunted story, especially if you're listening to this podcast.

So I have elements of a haunted story. So if you need your writers out there, take notes if you want to write a good haunted story. Here you go. You're ready.

First, you need a haunted person or atmospheric location. Okay, so I want you to all kind of picture in your mind your own story, right? Second, you need death, which is basically the location's dark history. So if death isn't your thing, I mean, that's ghostly.

You know, think of how that death is going to come about, right? The next thing you need is relatable characters, because that's going to draw new people, right? But sometimes they could have abilities if you wanted to get real fancy. The next thing you need is a villain, and the wonderful thing about a haunted story is the villain could be supernatural, could be alien, could be human.

The world is your oyster, pick your villain. Then you need to make sure that you balance your scares, because you don't want too little, because that's boring, but you don't want too much, because that's overwhelming, so have your scares balanced just right. And then paranormal detection equipment, which may or may not work with your story, kind of depends on the angle that your story's going in, but if you're going to have some investigators or people stumble across them. Across them, you're going to want some paranormal equipment for your investigators.

And then last but not least, you need darkness, because everything bad happens, right? Or so this suggests that there you go. On the first end of Jeff, relatable characters, villain, balanced scares, equipment, and darks. After 10 p.m., at least, I think is a rule.

And if you guys want to license whiskey as a relatable paranormal investigator character, you know, just hit up our line. Also both sides know. Or just rip it off. If your main character is her name, Jack and Coke, I'm coming after you.

So, okay, and I'll transparency for one of my classes. I had to write just a pilot episode, and so I made a ghost hunting episode. And based on people in our ghost hunting group, and whiskey may have been a lot in the story. I have a Russian accent, at least.

Here's a whiskey decut based off of the real person that whiskey is based off of. There is a romance series that I am the main character of. It's a three book series. You believe that?

It's not true, but the character is me. I had a lot of fun creative lives, but I can't invent people. So I heavily borrowed from people. I don't know what my teacher is going to do with all these pilot episodes.

If vodka and Luna was my name. Corrin. My name is Venus. Oh, that's right.

Venus. So it was fun. We had to talk about things during Nells. So I learned about it.

See? It's amazing. Alright, so we actually have some investigations. It's actually the same investigation we went once, and then we decided that we wanted to go back when I got a little darker, and we wanted to wait until Whiskey and Moon could be here because they were both there, and you don't hear just me talk about it.

So let's talk about the tattoo. The place that we went to. They said we could talk about it. It's called Hearts and Hands Tattoos in Oramutans on State Street.

Fantastic. So Whiskey, what tell us a little bit about what you guys encountered? I went up into the first and the second because I get a mix up, so we'll talk about it. We went twice.

These are things that happen to both times. Yeah, so we went the first time. It was just a standard kind of call for answers. I wouldn't call it a call for help due to our line, but they're just like, stuff's going on.

We would love to understand it. So it was just like a early evening investigation. Nothing too crazy. But a lot of us got the vibe that something different would happen in the later hours of the night throughout the investigation.

We frequently heard a woman talking. A lot of times we heard some men talking. I know Moon and I were separated for a good bit of the first evening there. And I kept hearing stuff going off in Moon's little back corner area that has actual pieces of humans in jars.

Fun fun fact if you go back. I learned that the second time you were there. What happened when you were in that corner? Because I kept you.

I feel like I kept hearing your grandpa go off. I was having a lot of activity. So I was really excited. I had my grandpa.

I mean, I do the booby trap method a lot. And so I had tons of stuff out there. I had our little paranormal spirit communication lights out. I had catoos and I had my phone out taking pictures.

And what I got, we got a lot of answers. We felt like we were talking to two males. And I had left and then I had come back and we named them. I think it was based off an ITC device names and like we got the words yes or whatever.

And so I named them as I came back and I was recording and I was like, hey, are you two here? And I got the craziest like floating orbs that just appeared at like right in the. The frame of the video. Yes, thank you.

Thank you. I got two in the frame. I saw the first one. It's like super obvious when I posted it whiskey, found a little Easter egg one that just flashed out of nowhere.

I was like, Oh my gosh. So we got lots of communication through all kinds of different devices that first time. And as I was walking around, I'd be like, Oh, I feel kind of spooky in this area or spooky in that area. So I went out my K2 meter and my trifield meter and I was finding that there was like a lot of electricity emitting through areas.

So that's why you would be giving the spooky vibe. That was my experience the first night. There was definitely high magnetic fields and like fields in different areas that they claim to feel uncomfortable. And so we can explain that out.

But one kind of cool thing happened with the I think Chad might have seen this at one point. I'm not sure exactly who was down there, but in the area that they felt like to run through like the very back door on the SLS, a figure taller than the door appeared. It was just like bending over the door. Matt was there.

So I know Matt got to see that for a bit and we tried to move around. Yeah, it was different because it was in the human kind of shape or stick figure shape, but it was much bigger than. The standard ones that we get most of the time. Oh, wow.

And there was there's lots of stuff all over the walls and there's not like I'm sure that's a hotbed for false SLS, but. Over the door, there's really nothing and there wasn't anything that's like stick shaped or head and shoulder shaped behind the door either. So that was pretty interesting. My favorite part of the first night was the when I turned on the portal, which is just like a fancy device that basically cuts out a lot of the static so we can hear responses better from the spirit box.

And within like 10 seconds, we immediately get a who are you? I posted on my Instagram and I sent it after I sent it to our contact to the tattoo shop for approval and between that and SLS, they were pretty stoked and very excited to bring us the next time. And so the following time we had a lot more people there and I think my favorite part, I mean, the who are you was cool? The SLS was cool, but my favorite part is always when people see something happen for the first time and there was a girl and a guy that went there the first night that joined us and they hung out in the front with me and I was just kind of doing some things in the front.

And I put out a cap ball in one chair, I put out a little spirit light on another chair and then they were taking the rest of the chairs and the one girl was very scared a little bit. I was like, I promise you, it's not scary. Just remember these are lights turning on and off like nothing crazy is happening. It's just lights.

And so I started talking to the room and saying, hello, you know, I'm whiskey. I've been here before. I think I heard you last time I was here. Can you go turn on that light just sit in that chair over there?

Let me know you're here. Turned on. Right away. And they're like jumped off her pants almost.

I was a little scared and I was like, don't worry. I was like, okay. So just but wouldn't turn the light off for me, which for some reason on the red lights, it just cranks them on and you have to go turn. I don't know what is other lights, but I had a cap ball in the other chair and I said, okay, if you can't turn that light off, that's fine.

Can you go turn on the cap ball? You just have to like walk next to it, tap it anything and it turned on the cap ball. Right then. And so at that point, I saw somebody's face change to the realization that there might be something intelligent in the room and that cap ball didn't actually go off again the entire night.

I was stomping around. I even kicked the didn't kick it hard to like I tapped it brushed up against even though I was nowhere near it went off. So it was. Hair normal and the means that I couldn't explain it and it appeared to be intelligent.

We did some s just method stuff with everybody there. That was pretty cool. One guy heard ice cream. She was like, I for so years like laughing is the clearest word I heard was ice cream.

I'm like, that sums up hair normal investigating pretty well, actually. You do the s just method and some super spooky plays and it's like Snickers bar and like, what does this mean? What do you want? Another interesting thing that happened was the phone rank like in the middle of our investigation and later in the night it was 1130.

Yeah. She was so brave, but she was like also very funny. Like she was fun, you know, and she was so scared to answer the phone and she finally did and it just was like a click. And I was unfortunately at the room, but I came back in and they told me what happened.

And so me and Whiskey are like joking about stuff and telling about another story that happened at a different investigation. And then I don't remember what happened, but we mentioned about would you ring the phone again and I was recording with my our spirit lights and it said no. Like it lit up. No, like it was perfect.

So it's fun to see our equipment working really well. For me, oh, go ahead. I was just a speaking of equipment and somebody on the team pulled out an endoscope. I got an endoscope.

Actually, Chad got an endoscope for Father's Day, but it works with an iPhone. And we want men for my attention. Do we want to know where it got stuck in this investigation? Yeah, this was a really weird mental art that we're taking part.
