In questa puntata, i nostri speaker parlano della mostra “Scultura buddhista in Giappone“ presso l’Istituto giapponese di cultura di Roma, in via Antonio Gramsci 74, svoltasi nel periodo dal 17 giugno al 31 luglio di questa estate.La statuaria buddhista giapponese si fa risalire convenzionalmente al periodo Asuka (593 – 710), cui appartiene lo Asuka Daibutsu, effigie bronzea di Shaka Nyorai a Nara. Da allora stili, fogge e relativa iconografia si sono alternati e spesso affastellati, inglobando estetica e cultura delle epoche attraversate. Trenta pannelli fotografici, trenta capolavori del patrimonio artistico mondiale. Una mostra da non perdere per tutti gli amanti della cultura giapponese.
