Don’t fear Mother Cuz I will do what your raised me to do Because love’s enough to guide me Im gonna find my way through We never really talked about the changing of the wind We spent out time comiserating on the politics of men I know life can be complicated with a million shades of gray But you’ve always helped to simplify what goes on inside my brain you taught me life is all about knowing wrong from right and never ever waste your love on those who want to fight you must know that I have listened but as always I took my time some things we must just go through and learn by living life Now with my own children I Know must always be kind i’ve never made excuses For you taught me how to shine I get up every morning make the most of every day all because you loved me and love will guide my way
