Mother Charged After Hammer Attack on Son | Miami News

A Florida mom faces serious charges after allegedly attacking her own son with a hammer and pepper spray while driving—forcing him to flee to his dad’s house. Police say she ignored his pleas for help, then arrested without comment. This isn’t her first legal trouble: she was convicted of carrying a concealed weapon in 2024 while working as a corrections sergeant. Authorities are calling this latest act deeply disturbing.
