Now thriving on the other side, Dawoon shares her story and offers powerful insights to help other mothers navigate their own challenges and find strength in the storm. Dawoon Kang is originally from Korea and immigrated to the US when she was 13 with her two sisters. In 2012, Dawoon and her sisters started a company called Coffee Meets Bagel (CMB), a dating app for singles looking for a serious relationship. She was running the company remotely from Hawaii as the founder & Chief Dating Officer at the time she got pregnant and gave birth to her daughter. She has since then moved to Ericeira, Portugal, and currently lives there with her husband and three year-old daughter.
