Motherhood with My Best Friend & How to Navigate the Unexpected

from Speak, Mother | Motherhood Burnout Recovery & Identity Reclamation · host Shannon Warner

Send Shannon A NoteIn this episode, I interview my very best friend of 25 years, Michelle. Friends since middle school, we have navigated so many ups and downs of life together in motherhood and beyond. Michelle shares her journey as a medical mama and her experience of the loss of her daughter, Olivia, and how even the greatest pain can deliver a beautiful outcome. We discuss how to find and lean into a community amidst a child's diagnosis, how to advocate for children, and taking the journey one day at a time. We also discuss the importance of taking time for yourself, what that looks like, and how it benefits your children. Additionally, we explore the ways in which we've fostered friendship as moms and the intentionality it requires to be successful. Did you know?
