Essex to London Business Podcast S02E09 - Tracey - Doula - Mothering The Mother Tracey is a very proud Doula and founder of Mothering the Mother which is all about supporting new and expectant families from conception to beyond.  Mothering the Mother offers confidential, emotional and practical support, supplying information so that families can make informed decisions that best suit them. Tracey's mission is to help empower women at this vulnerable time of their life, making birthing experiences better by supporting and encouraging women and their loved ones through shared experiences and with evidenced-based information. Mothering the Mother does not mean ‘smothering the mother’.  Information will empower, facts bring about choice and, as a result, allow for informed decision making. As always with our guests they start with the quick-fire questions we then fine out all about them and their journey into their business. We ask them questions on creativity, community and advice. Useful tools: Microsoft has a fantastic editing tool which provides audio of text you have written; I am always amazed at how, even after having proofread, there are errors or typos I have missed.  To access it go to the toolbar, click review and then click read aloud.  The second useful tool I mentioned is one I use on my phone if I want to do a quick draft for a post, text or email; here I can speak directly into noteson my phone and it automatically types up whatever I have said.  It is super quick and really useful for getting ideas out of your head and written down. To access, go into the notes on your smartphone, the toolbar has the option to record, click and speak and it does the rest for you.
