Mother's Day 2023

Happy Mothers Day! I asked my wife this week what would she want to hear on Mother’s Day or what message would she want to remind Mom’s this Mother’s Day. Her answer was the same this year as it was last year She said, “Being a mom is hard work and don’t be discouraged, hang in there, don’t give up.” “Pain is temporary, glory is eternal.” I’ve said for years if giving birth to children was up to men we would be extinct. As soon as it hurt we men would quit. But not you Mom’s and to think you are willing to have more than one. I am amazed by the sacrificial love any woman who bears children has to have. To think in such a vain world a woman would allow her body to be stretched and transformed to give life to another. It’s something that God has placed uniquely in the heart of women. I read a quote this week that said, “It’s Not Easy Being A Mother. If It were Easy Father’s Would Do It” ---------------- Thank you for listening to the Calvary Chapel Bakersfield podcast!
