Gavin Lynch takes our Mother's Day message for 2021, looking at the story of Jochebed in Exodus 2. Who was Jochebed, and what was her legacy in the Bible? Gavin looks at that this week as he looks at this story of Moses' mother. From defying the Egyptians edict which commanded that all Hebrew boys be killed when they're born, to raising her son for Pharaohs daughter, Jochebed was the mother of a pivotal character in the Old Testament. Gavin looks at how the people of Israel ended up in Egypt, and what this meant for Jochebed, and in turn, Moses, before diving into Exodus 2.
