Mount Pleasant School Board Special Election Candidate Forum

On this VIDEO episode of Southeast Iowa Today John Bain attends the Mount Pleasant School Board Special Election Candidate Forum at the Mount Pleasant High School in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, sponsored by Mount Pleasant Chamber Alliance and KILJ Radio. The two candidates; Todd Liechty and Mark Overberg, running for the one open position on the School Board, take questions from Moderator Executive Vice President of Mount Pleasant Chamber Alliance Rachel Lindeen as well as members of the community. The Special Election is May 13, 2025, at the St. Alphonsus Manning Hall, 607 South Jackson Street in Mount Pleasant. It all happened April 30, 2025.
