Mountain West Football spring football wrap up

from Mountain West Wire · host Jeremy Mauss

Jeremy and Matt are back to recap the final Mountain West spring football games. Those teams are mostly from the West Division which include UNLV, San Diego State, Fresno State, San Jose State, plus Hawaii. They also get into Wyoming's spring game and look at their positives and negatives from the teams that are finishing up spring football. There are a lot of positives to take from spring, and that is usually the case, but it is true for most of the teams. Nevada and Fresno State are fine tuning their game plan, Hawaii looks to have an improved defense and also Calvin Turner will be a household name with his do-everything play style on offense. Wyoming is deep on both sides of the ball but needs to figure out its quarterback who will actually be slinging the ball a lot this year,. UNLV still has a ways to go but there are some signs of life and improvement to be competitive out West. San Diego State also needs to settle on a quarterback and if they can figure out who it is and they show up well, then the Aztecs could be in the running for the West crown.
