Mounted Police Gear Up for Big Game | Ole Miss Rebels Football News

When Lane Kiffin returns to Oxford as LSU’s head coach, the stage is set for a high-stakes college football showdown with Ole Miss — and the town’s police are ready. Nearly 150 officers, including detectives and school resource units, will work grueling 12-hour shifts. While the extra horses and manpower grab attention, officials stress this is standard procedure for major events — their mission remains simple: keep everyone safe and ensure fans leave with great memories.
