Mourning Into Gladness | Week 7

from Community Church Playa · host Amendeep Bains

Sunday message from Community Church Playa given on May 24 by Pastor Amen Bains. This week in our Exiles series, we look at Jeremiah 31:1–14 and discover how God meets weary people with His restoring love. Through the Good Shepherd, we’re reminded that true rest is not found in easier circumstances, but through relationship with Jesus. Even in seasons of sorrow and exhaustion, God leads His people from mourning into joy and from striving into rest. Scripture References: Jeremiah 31:1–14 John 10:1–19 Matthew 11:28 WEEKLY REFLECTION QUESTIONS 1. What burden, sorrow, or weariness do I need to bring before Jesus today? 2. What distractions may be keeping me from hearing and following the Shepherd’s voice?
