Mourning Over Sin

In this episode, we look at mourning over sin. We look at what it means to do so and why we should do it. We look at the Beatitudes in the Sermon on the Mount to see what Jesus said about 'Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted.' We look at what exactly this entails and the connection that it has with the feeling of guilt. We look at how people come to feel guilty and how we should respond when we do feel so. We also look at the feeling of shame and how we can properly deal with it. We look at the purpose of mourning over our sin and how it should lead to forgiveness and freedom. We should make the choice today to mourn and repent of our sin so that the Lord can lift the burden and free us!
