Today on the show I’m sitting down with enough folk-rock heart to convince even the most cynical musician into believing, ‘Rock n’ Roll didn’t die, our priorities did.’  I’ve often said that rock n’ roll isn’t a genre, it's an invocation of social change, with one’s heart on full display. It’s as much punk rock as it is soul.  I can’t think of three original artists who carry the torch of being genuine singer-songwriters to the Olympic flame more than Shelby Blondell, Mike Smith & Shane Grimm.  They are as authentic as they are charming and as real as they are artistic. They know the power of an honest song. I couldn’t be happiest to have them on the show.
