The Dodies are a rock n’ roll duo from the southern Israeli Desert. I was introduced to the group via Mr. Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, Chinese Democracy-era guitarist for Guns n’ Roses and axe slinger for Art of Anarchy and Sons of Apollo and I’ve been hooked on their music ever since. The Dodies music is organic and honest and its heart harkens back to the time of 90’s alternative grunge, but with a modern melodic and punk sensibility. Yoni Avittan and Ran Aronson make a lot of noise for two guys in their proverbial garage and may just be the next big band to kick the rock n’ roll doors in like Nirvana did over 3 decades ago.
