Movember

Today is a special three way broadcast on air, between Channel Africa, Radio 2000 and SAFM, which is focusing to Movember month for Men. The month of November boasts International Men’s Day, where the issue of men’s contributions and role in modern society was put on the spotlight. This broadcast is part of the launch of “Africa Rise An Powered By Men In the Making” dialogue initiated by Radio 2000; aimed at stimulating a dialogue of how men can make a difference for good in their communities. Our broadcast also coincides with 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence, an international campaign which begins on November 25 and concludes on December 10 each year.
