The Biomedicine Discovery Institute (BDI) located at Monash University’s Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences in Melbourne gives early-to-mid career researchers the opportunity to study and tackle global health priorities, like BDI Research Fellow Dr Mitchell Lawrence’s research into Prostate Cancer. Home to more than 700 researchers, 120 research groups and 200 international research collaborators, BDI Deputy Director Professor Dena Lyras gives us insight into the direction of the Institute to provide avenues for researchers to excel and realise opportunities to connect with industry to further their biomedical breakthroughs.
