Movember - Prostate Awareness Month

Guest: Dr. Jonathan Silberstein, Chief of Urologic Oncology, Memorial Health Systems Dr. Silberstein is a 'Movember' Ambassador, encouraging men not to shave during the month of November as a way to spread awareness about Men's Health, and in particular Prostate Cancer Awareness. Silberstein talks about testing for Prostate Cancer, the challenges in determining whether or not treatment is necessary, and shreds the myth that the DRE (Digital Rectal Exam) is the only option for testing. A simple PSA blood test can now show if prostate cancer is present, and how aggressively it may develop.
