Movie And A Beer Episode 130: Escape from New York

Early 1980's sci-fi films were the best for bringing the audience into a dystopian future, on this episode of Movie And A Beer we enjoyed such a classic from John Carpenter, Escape from New York. Staring Kurt Russell as Snake Plissken, a former Special Forces soldier turned criminal, he's recruited to retrieve the president in exchange for his own freedom (or have his head blown off in less than 24hrs).  With such amazing action, we just had to pick a couple of strong flavored IPA's to sip along the way. The first was a West Coast style IPA from Grains of Wrath (WA), and the second was a Double Dry Hopped IPA from Fast Fashion Brewing out of Seattle (WA). As a bonus, we discussed hops in length during the episode.
