Movie Director Daniel Stamm from the horror film Lockbox 8-7-2026

Daniel Stamm was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany, where, as a teenager, he hosted a radio show and edited a youth magazine. He toured with a theater company, studied drama, and published a play before moving to Belfast, Northern Ireland, to work as a peace worker. Two years later, he returned to Germany to attend film school and study screenwriting.After directing a documentary about rock musician Nick Cave, Daniel moved to Los Angeles and graduated from the American Film Institute's directing program. In the years that followed, he wrote songs for local singers, became a certified hypnotist, and hitchhiked across the U.S.Daniel's first feature film, A NECESSARY DEATH, premiered at SXSW and won the Audience Award at AFI FEST later that same year. His second feature, THE LAST EXORCISM, received a number of internationa awards and grossed $65 million at the box office.  His new horror film LOCKBOX is now out on demand.
