Movie "Hare Krishna! The Mantra, the Movement and the Swami Who Started It All" - Commentary by David Hoffmeister - Weekly Online Movie WorkshopFrom David's commentary: "Unlike Paramahansa Yogananda, who was still a fairly young man when he went to America, our Swami today is gonna wake up 70 years old and hear that he's to go to New York City from Calcutta, and he doesn't have any money. That is how the spirit really opens your heart wide. You are taken beyond your imagination and beyond what you would consider a safe probability of how your life would go. This Swami will show us that age is not an excuse. If this man can follow the spirit at 70 years old, penniless, go through the winter in New York, homeless, then none of us have an excuse. It's not like you're being called as a personal Savior, but you do have a part to play. And that part is your special function, which will be given to you, moment by moment. Again and again, it's living spontaneously in the moment without a future and has forgiveness be the key to happiness. We're not talking about necessarily forgiving a person; we're talking about being able to just see the false as false. Everything we perceive through the five senses is dualistic until we forgive, and that's why forgiveness is the key to happiness. There is a way of looking at the world in which the body's eyes continue to report differences, and that is to put them all into one category. They are not real. That is non-duality. There's your non-dual happiness. And then the ego says, Oh yeah, you're not going to survive. If you go in that direction. But you'll do more than survive; you'll be in the sweet grace of my My sweet lord."Enjoy David's enlightening commentary. You can watch the whole introduction to the movie here on YouTube: https://youtu.be/FrfI1sOYEjQ.If you are interested to know more about David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles events, here is more information: https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/events.Recorded on August 21, 2021, in Chapala, Mexico.Follow us on:YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/DavidHoffmeister https://www.youtube.com/@LivingMiraclesFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/ACIM.ACourseInMiracles Learn more about David & Living Miracles:https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/eventsLearn more about A Course in Miracles:https://ACIM.bizDavid's Spanish YouTube Channel is: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCP9Gw00CldPUmiu43y7fdWwDavid's Portuguese YouTube Channel is:https://www.youtube.com/@davidhoffmeisterucem
