Movie Night - The Beautiful Lie | Comedy

This week on The Peter Walsh Show, we dive into one of the strangest, most seductive and unsettling movies of the late ’90s — a psychological thriller where wealth, obsession, identity and jealousy collide under the Italian sun. We look at the performances, the Oscar recognition, the fascinating behind-the-scenes trivia, and why one supporting performance almost walks away with the entire film. It’s beautiful, uncomfortable, occasionally darkly funny, and definitely not your conventional comedy — but beneath all that glamour is a story that gets more disturbing the longer it goes. A classic piece of Hollywood filmmaking that leaves you wondering just how far someone will go to become the person they desperately wish they were. www.thepeterwalshshow.com
