Movie Pet Peeves, plus, Care and Feeding of Vintage Radios/TVs

from The Baby Boomer Radio, TV, Movies, Magazines, Music, Comics, Fads, Toys, Fun, and More Show! · host Smitty, Mike, and Ian

What are your Movie Pet Peeves? Ian Rose has seven of them, and he shares them with us. Some of them are subtitles, wrong hair styles, and wrong accents. Listen in and hear what Ian has to say about this. Mike and Smitty follow up with their own observations on oddities in movies and TV. Our Retro-Commercial is for the 1959 Edsel, voiced by NBC newscaster John Cameron Swayze. Smitty talks about collecting and finding antique radios and TVs. He's been collecting radios for many years and shares some of his knowledge. Where to find them and what to look for are covered. He shares with us what he looks for and describes condition and pricing of early sets. Also, Smitty reminds us to not plug in any radio, TV, or vintage electronics that has not been used in many years. Doing this can severely damage an old set and you could "Zap" your body circuitry.
