from Quietly Visible · host Carol Stewart

A difficult childhood due to family circumstances, meant that Maria Guimaraes grew up feeling different to her school friends, experiencing shyness and unable to speak up for herself and show her true value when she entered the corporate world.  Feeling invisible was her norm for many years.  Following a suicide attempt, through modalities such as life coaching, NLP and hypnotherapy, Maria was able to overcome her insecurities and gain confidence.  In this week's podcast, Maria, talks about aspects of her childhood and work experience, and how she she is now an 'ex invisible' woman having gone through a transformative journey. She now helps people to make peace with their past, overcame their fears and insecurities, to tap into their 'inner power' to become more visible and successful in their personal and working life.   About Maria Guimaraes Maria is an Empowerment Coach, NLP, Time Line Therapy and Hypnotherapy Practitioner and also a Reiki Practitioner. Her difficult childhood, suffering physical and mental violence, frequently hearing that “I shouldn’t exist”, and the grief of losing her support parent to disease, at a very young age made her grow and reach adult age with a total lack of confidence. Her transformative journey helped her understand why all the things that happened to her also happened for her, allowing her to change her perspective towards life completely. She started to use her strengths and skills and changed her life.  Following her own transformative journey, she started “Inner Skills Coaching” to help others with their own transformation. https://www.innerskillscoaching.com/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/maria-g-professional-empowerment-coach-personalcoaching/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/maria-g-professional-empowerment-coach-personalcoaching/
