Moving on After you lose someone close

from Quiet Mornings · host Evangeline Delaney

This is a tough experience. It is hard to let go of people you love. The hurt seems like it will never go away. You cry, eating seems hard to do, sleep does not come easy and you are completely out of control. For me who like to be in control all the times, it is very painful for me because it is almost like you have been placed on a different planet and no one understands you. It is a very difficult period to go through. Sometimes you just want to give everything up and ask yourself "what is the reason for all this go-getter attitude?" It is a challenge but I am learning that even though it is good to grieve its best that you do not grieve for too long. Daily, you must pick yourself up and be there for the people who are around you and for those who depend on you. Especially when you know the one you lost has now reunited with our heavenly Father. Be encouraged today. It hurts but set your heart and eyes on God because it is only Him who can bring healing to your broken heart.
