Lorenzo Alberto Barcella è un musicista e compositore nato e cresciuto a Milano. Si è diplomato in chitarra jazz al Conservatorio della sua città, dove ha studiato anche composizione e arrangiamento. Negli anni ha portato avanti una doppia dimensione: da un lato il performer attivo sulla scena jazz milanese, dall’altro il compositore, un ruolo a cui si è dedicato sempre di più, fino a specializzarsi nella musica per il cinema. Le sue colonne sonore sono arrivate anche al Festival di Cannes e gli sono valse diversi premi internazionali. Ad aprile 2025, la sua composizione Mysterious Dance è stata suonata dall’Helix Collective ai Bandrika Studios di Los Angeles, in un concerto organizzato dall’American Society of Music Arrangers and Composers. In quell’occasione Lorenzo, unico autore italiano invitato, ha partecipato anche a un panel pubblico, condividendo la sua esperienza con musicisti e professionisti della scena internazionale.
