Bruna Di Virgilio è una pianista nata in un paesino sul lago di Como. Si è diplomata in pianoforte e violoncello al conservatorio di Milano, per poi perfezionarsi all’Accademia di Pinerolo e ha studiato pedagogia musicale a Lugano, nel Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana. Il suo percorso si è arricchito di masterclass e collaborazioni internazionali, partendo dalla musica classica fino a sviluppare un interesse sempre più marcato per il repertorio contemporaneo.Nel 2025 ha preso parte al progetto percept.concept.percept in Slovenia, una residenza che ha riunito giovani compositori e performer da diverse parti del mondo. Dopo una fase preparatoria online, l’esperienza si è concretizzata durante L’ABECEDA Contemporary Music Week nella città di Bled.Qui i partecipanti hanno co-creato opere inedite, sperimentando pratiche multimediali, elettronica dal vivo e prospettive artistiche eterogenee. Per Bruna è stata l’occasione di sospendere il ritmo frenetico del lavoro quotidiano e immergersi in un laboratorio collettivo, denso di esplorazione, ascolto reciproco e possibilità di immaginare nuove forme sonore.
